Theatre in the Park (JCPRD) presents "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," directed by Lacey Connell, at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, 8788 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66212.

AUDITIONS: In-person Sunday, October 18, 2026, 4:00-6:00 PM. Auditionees choose a half-hour time slot starting at 4:00 PM (last slot 5:30 PM); arrive 15 minutes early. Video auditions also accepted - submit by 4:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2026. Callbacks (by invitation only) Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 6:00-10:00 PM.

PREPARE: 16 bars of a musical that showcases your voice; bring a paper copy of your music in your key (accompanist provided - no recordings). No dance portion for this indoor call. Video auditions: 90 seconds max, filmed landscape, state your first and last name and sing.

ROLES (most cast members play multiple roles): Rudolph, Sam (snowman/narrator), Santa Claus, Hermey, Donner, Mrs. Donner, Mrs. Claus, Fireball, Boss Elf, King Moonracer, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster; plus Misfit Toys (Charlie, Doll, Spotted Elephant, Train, Bird, Cowboy, Plane), Santa's Reindeer (Blitzen, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Cupid) and the Elves Chorus.

PERFORMANCES: December 5-23, 2026 (weekend matinees plus Dec 21-23 evening shows) at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center. Rehearsals Nov 1-27 with tech Nov 29-Dec 4.
