Description
Summit Theatre Group announces an open audition call for JUKEBOX MUSICAL CABARET, directed by Becca Stabno with technical direction by Kenny Taylor.
A jukebox musical cabaret featuring songs you know and love from shows such as Mamma Mia!, Footloose, & Juliet, Moulin Rouge, Just In Time, and many more - with a twist: the audience can sing along with some of the performers!
CASTING: Seeking 5-8 performers, varied ages. Performers will not need to be memorized.
PERFORMANCES at the STG Studio (180 NW Oldham Pkwy, Lee's Summit, MO 64081):
- Friday, August 14 at 7:00 PM
- Saturday, August 15 at 7:00 PM
- Sunday, August 16 at 2:00 PM
REHEARSALS (also at STG Studio): August 3, 5, 6 and August 10-13, 7:00-9:30 PM; load-in August 9. Call times: Aug 14 & 15 at 5:30 PM, Aug 16 at 12:30 PM.
Note: pay/stipend not specified on the audition notice.

Prepare up to a 32-bar cut (no more than 2 minutes) of a song you love to sing from a jukebox musical. Plan to sing with a karaoke-style accompaniment track - devices can be connected to a speaker at in-person auditions.
