Description
MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION. "Peter Pan Goes Wrong" — a wild comedy by Jonathan Sayer, Henry Lewis and Henry Shields. The accident-prone Cornley Drama Society attempts J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan," with two acts of hysterical disaster: flying mishaps, technical hitches, and cast disputes. Directed by Shannon J. Reilly.
AUDITIONS: Saturday, August 1, 2026, 1:00–4:00 PM (callbacks immediately following) at Topeka Civic Theatre & Academy, 3028 SW 8th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606.
CAST: 7 Men and 3 Women. Roles: Chris Bean (plays George Darling/Captain Hook), Robert Grove (Nana/Starkey), Dennis Tyde (John Darling/Mr Smee), Trevor Watson (Stage Manager), Jonathan Harris (Peter Pan), Max Bennett (Michael Darling/The Crocodile), Annie Twilloil (Mary Darling/Tiger Lily/Tinker Bell), Sandra Wilkinson (Wendy Darling), Lucy Grove (Tootles), Francis Beaumont (Narrator/Cecco).
PERFORMANCES: Sept 11 – Oct 11, 2026 (Thu/Fri/Sat evenings & Sun matinees) at Topeka Civic Theatre.
NOTES: Topeka is ~60-minute drive from KC metro core. Pay/stipend not specified on the audition notice (listed as unpaid by default; verify with theatre).
