My Kid's Christmas Program
Whim Productions
Audition Dates
August 16, August 17
Description
Whim Productions is excited to announce that we're remounting Kevin King's My Kid's Christmas Program in 2026, directed by Steven Eubank.
ABOUT THE SHOW: The tinsel’s tangled, the pageant’s off the rails, and Miss Peach’s Academy has lost its auditorium, but the show must go on!
You’re invited to the annual holiday pageant for Miss Peach’s Academy. Forced to relocate to Whim Space after a series of mishaps, the “kids” (played by adults) are ready to belt and blunder their way through a holiday pageant like no other. It’s the holiday program you remember... just with more sass, irreverence, and emotional baggage. A delightfully twisted immersive experience for the grown-ups who survived grade-school pageants.
All the roles are played by adults.
Actors will receive a stipend.

Rehearsal Dates: Nov 8 - Dec 2nd
Off Nov 25 & 26, Dec 1

WHAT TO PREPARE:
Please be prepared:
To sing a bit of your favorite Christmas song (it could be an old classic or a new Xmas banger) and
To share a memorable Christmas anecdote. It could be a personal story from your past or something that happened to someone else. It could even be a good retelling of a favorite Christmas movie or holiday special. Something with a nice beginning, middle, and end that makes you smile or moves you, and can be told in less than five minutes.
