Description
Lyric Opera of Kansas City is holding DANCE auditions for its spring 2027 production of Verdi's AIDA — a brand-new Lyric Opera production directed by Keturah Stickann and conducted by Gerard Schwarz, performed in Italian with projected English translations. Seeking two (2) male and two (2) female AGMA dancers. Auditioners should exhibit a strong contemporary/ballet background and an athletic, dynamic range, and should wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that shows the dance line.
Audition: Thursday, October 1, 2026, 4:00-7:00 PM at the Michael & Ginger Frost Production Arts Center, 712 E. 18th Street, Kansas City, MO 64108 (corner of 18th & Charlotte).
Production performances: April 24, April 30 & May 2, 2027 (Kauffman Center / Muriel Kauffman Theatre).
Note: This is a professional AGMA (union) dancer call; the equity/pay defaults below reflect a paid union engagement (AGMA, not AEA).
