Post an Opportunity

The Opportunities board is for Kansas City theatre postings that don't have a fixed performance date yet: a play reading gathering readers before a date is picked, a job or gig, a search for a collaborator, or a class. If your posting has firm audition dates, use Submit an Audition instead; for a dated event, use Submit an Event.

This is not for advertising your upcoming productions or theaters. Any upcoming productions may advertise with banner ads on the site by submitting here, and we'll be in touch.

Currently we do not require submitters to record their name or contact info, so if your submission is rejected, you will not be notified unless you were logged in at the time of submitting.

All submissions are reviewed within 48 hours and will be posted as soon as they're approved.

Which category?

Reading - a staged or table reading looking for readers, often before a date is set.
Job/Gig - paid theatre work: stage management, design, tech, box office, teaching artist.
Collaborator Wanted - a writer, director, designer or producer looking for someone to make something with.
Class/Workshop - ongoing training with rolling enrollment rather than a single dated session.
Other - anything theatre-related in the KC area that doesn't fit the above.

Title of the Opportunity e.g. "Readers wanted for a new one-act" or "Stage Manager needed for fall show"
