By accessing or using kctheatre.info, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who can use the site

You must be at least 13 years old to use kctheatre.info. By using the site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information, keep it current, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Submitting listings

You may submit auditions and events, with or without an account. When you do:

• You represent that you have the right to post the content and that it is accurate and lawful.
• Content must be relevant to Kansas City–area theatre and must not be spam, misleading, offensive, infringing, or unlawful.
• You grant kctheatre.info a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your submitted content on and in connection with the site, including in digest emails and social posts.
• Approved listings are public and visible to all visitors.

5. Moderation

All submissions are reviewed before publication. We may approve, reject, edit, remove, or allow any listing to expire at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Approved listings automatically expire once their dates have passed.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the site. You agree not to scrape or harvest data through automated means, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site, upload malware or unlawful content, or harass other users.

7. Accuracy and disclaimer

Listings are provided by the community and by third parties. We do not independently verify them and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legitimacy of any audition, event, or organization listed. The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. You interact with third-party organizations and attend auditions and events at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, kctheatre.info and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on any listing.

9. Third-party links and ads

The site contains links and advertisements to third-party websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Intellectual property

The site’s design, branding, and original content are owned by kctheatre.info. User-submitted content remains owned by its submitter, subject to the license described in Section 4.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts or remove content that violates these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
